Infiniti to unveil an LE electric concept car at New York International Auto Show

There are strong indications that Infiniti is set to unveil and electric concept car at the upcoming New York International Auto Show, as we learned from The Detroit Bureau. While the auto manufacturer presented a plug-in hybrid called the Emerg-E concept at the last Geneva Motor Show, this New York-bound concept car called the Infiniti LE is battery-powered and reportedly shares its mechanical aspects with the Nissan leaf.

The sketch shown above was released last September by the auto maker, as a preview of an all-electric luxury sedan it plans to produce in 2014. If you’re always thrilled to see a battery-powered luxury car, be sure to attend the New York Auto Show, which will be held from 6th through 15th April, 2012.
