General Motors will raise funds for the College for Creative Studies on January 19th at the Barret-Jackson’s 2013 Scottsdale Auctions by auctioning its 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C7, first in its kind, a completely redesigned Corvette considered by the company to be their most powerful yet. Bidders will be able to acquire a marvelous part of Chevy history, which showcases outstanding changes the iconic American car company hadn’t shown in over nine years. The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C7 is equipped with a 6.2 liter V8 engine that can go from 0 to 6 mph in only four seconds. That’s an estimate of 450 hp. It also comes with an eight-inch screen with high resolution and three different layouts in a customizable instrument cluster that can be changed from race, to sport, to touring. The sport mode has the tachometer in the center, while touring mode has it on the side to make room for directions, and finally, race mode displays the tachometer in a bar graph.
